True Blood Last Night

Gee, there are so many random story lines going on that I am getting confused. How did the woman shifter turn into Sam without even trying? That is what his brother did on purpose, and it killed him. And what's going on with Sookie and the vamp who killed her parents? She seems to be channeling him somewhow. Eric and Bill seem to be in some weird vampire movement that they can't get out of, and then there's the growing bond between Tara and her maker Pam. Jessica and Hoyt..I think he's going to be killed by the vamp killers and she will turn him. Any thoughts or predictions on this new season?
