Our little guy's quite the predator, as we've discovered. However, since we don't want to set him up with the coyotes
in the orchard behind our house, he's an indoor cat.
This is our first indoor cat, as all others went out to do their business, galavant around, then came in when they felt like it. We don't have a bay window, but there's a cat tree in front of the living room window, and we move that to the front door, then open the storm door so the screen's exposed when the weather allows--he loves the breeze coming in and likes to watch everyone walk their dogs. He also likes our other windows (screened), especially when they're open, though it appears that he soon won't fit up there.
A florist I used to go to many years ago had a couple of cats, and he kept them at his business. They loved it there, and I'd often find them hidden among the large potted plants and in the greenhouse. They weren't missing a thing by not being allowed outside!
Do you do anything special for your indoor cat(s)?
