I am surprised Tre didn't ask to be sent to a new unused jail!

Re: Tre sent a letter to the judge

I have a sneaking suspicion that visitation for her daughters is only one of her concerns. If she is asking for Connecticut, she may have in her stupid mind that the women there won't be so scary. Manhattan and Brooklyn, I would think are closer for Joe and the kids. I think she is worried sick about the women she will be housed with. She acts tough, but she is going to meet her match soon and she knows it. Make no mistake, she is p**ping in her pants worried.

RadarOnline reported Monday that a letter was submitted to Judge Ester Salas expressing that Giuidice’s former attorney did not request a specific prison at the time of sentencing, and the star would now like to amend this.

‘During Ms. Giudice’s sentencing, the Court expressed its intent to have Ms. Giudice serve her sentence in a camp environment,’ the letter read. ‘The sentencing transcripts reflect that Your Honor mentioned Danbury and West Virginia. We acknowledge that at the time of sentencing, defense counsel did not ask for a specific designation.'

n

It was added, ‘However, upon review of the judgment of conviction, and in discussions with a Bureau of Prisons expert, the language of the judgment as written will likely result in Ms. Giudice being designated to Metropolitan Detention Facility Brooklyn, or Metropolitan Correctional Facility Manhattan…both of which are administrative facilities that house females.

‘This was clearly not the intention of the court when inquiring as to Danbury or West Virginia as a designation. Ms. Giudice’s offense and her Bureau of Prison classification will qualify her to be designated to a camp, however, the language of the judgment must reflect the same.’

Giudice’s attorney then requests the judgement be changed to reflect that the Court recommends her for ‘a non-administrative facility placement’ and adds this would be in order ‘to facilitate visitation with her young children’.

The 42-year-old’s defense asks that if there is no room to incarcerate her at Danbury in Connecticut, she go to Anderson in West Virginia.

Thanks for the post Hoovermom.

What is an administrative facility? Anybody know?

How about these Brooklyn and Manhattan facilites? What are those like?

The fact that she requested means that she'll get the opposite, imo. I could be wrong, but I thought Danbury was mainly a men's prison now. The camps, like Alderson in WV and Danbury, are not nice. But they are luxury compared to those others that are mentioned. I wouldn't want to be in those either. However, I don't think the BOP is in the habit of granting requests. They'll send her where they want.

I hadn't thought of that, but you're right.

I guess it depends on where she goes, how many inmates watched her on HWNJ...and if they liked her or not.

She better hope if they watched it, that they're fans of hers. Wink

Wonder when she'll find out where's she's going.

Re: Tre sent a letter to the judge

I want to see her in about 6 months in an orange jumpsuit and gray roots growing out.....so sick of her and Juicy.......she IS dumb as a stump, but I think when it comes to money, her brain cells kick in and I'm sure she was in on what her hubby was doing......both total scam artists.

BING---GO.

Sorry, but Teresa is only worried about Teresa.

What good mother would do all the STUPID, IGNORANT, EGOTISTICAL, NARCISCITIC things she has done for the sake of BEING A GOOD MOTHER????

She is worried about her own butt right now, it's her every thought, I'm sure.

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing whether her fellow inmates like her or not.Wink

Wait until Joe comes to visit and spends precious time complaining about how hard he has it taking care of those ""brats"" as he calls them. Teresa will see the real Joe then.

Re: Tre sent a letter to the judge

I don't know about all of Tre's motiviations, but I'm sure that a big part of her terror is not being able to lay eyes on her children. I cannot even imagine not being able to see my girls but once every few months for a couple hours when they were that young. Obviously she is also frightened (who wouldn't be!) I'm sure she wants to be in the place she thinks she will be safest.

We are talking PRISON here! Who wouldn't be trying to get the best they could get.

Don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time, however.

Unless there is a camera crew following him and he is getting paid, I don't think Joe will visit Tre, regardless of where she ends up serving her sentence.

His mom, sister and her mom will end up raising those girls while Tre is locked up.

He will drink, go out and "work" just like he has always done.

I think Tre knows the real Joe.........always has.

jmo, of course.
