Has anyone ever gone on a Trafalgar Tour? We are thinking about going on the tour through the New England states to see the leaves change. It will start and end in Boston. I would appreciate your opinion on using this company.

Thank you,

Judy

They are a good tour operator. They've been in business for decades. Taking a tour isn't a bad way to go if you enjoy taking tours. The benefits are being transported, not having to worry about hotels, being told about the history and what you're seeing, some meals being arranged and suitcases being brought to your room.

The downside is that you are on a schedule, sometimes you feel like you're being rushed, everybody moves together as a group, and once in a while you end up with a jerk being along on the tour who complains about everything. (there is usually one in every crowd)

If you can get past the negatives, it's a good way to go!

You have me thinking back.. My husband and I drove New England states and it was easy and a lot of fun. We also took a cruise that was a 10 day cruise out of NYC and it ended in Montreal. That was GREAT. It was on Princess and they offer the cruise in the fall. Just a thought. Happy travels to you!

Great idea. We're going on a cruise in May. We may just decide to drive through New England. I may come back to you in the fall for some ideas about what to do if we decide to drive. Thanks so much!
