Trader Joe recalls cashews over salmonella fears. Trader Joes

 

brand of Raw Cashew Pieces. They have removed the product

 

from shelves. If you bought any with a   Specific Lot Code  

 

 BEST BEFORE 07.17.2016 TF4   do not eat .  May be tainted.

.

Throw out or return to store for refund.

I am getting so paranoid about the quality of our food and the safety issues.It just seems to be a lot more frequent these days.I hate to buy anything that I can't cook or wash prior to consuming.i think it will get worse yet with all of the water recycling and sewage treated and used to fertilize.

Cashews?  What the hey.  I grew up learning that Samonella comes from chickens and chicken products.  Seems it's everywhere now.  What happened?
