Not knowing the background, I can only relate to my previous experience.  If the item is being shipped directly from the manufacturer rather than a QVC/HSN warehouse the tracking information is unavailable from their sites.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.
