Towel Suggestions

I am so sick of buying good towels that come undone after a few washes! I'm talking about the seams around the edges, and also how the "loops" end up becoming a bunch of strings that I have to cut off! Very unsightly! I have bought most of my towels at Sears and JCPenny...mid-price range. They also never seem to be colorfast. Does anyone have suggestions for a reliable brand of towels that really hold up? Thanks.
