TMZ was on earlier and they showed Candy Spelling coming out of some restaurant and asked if she'd like to respond to the fact that Tori and Dean's situation. She said she is helping them by funding their necessitities - she is paying for their children's education and making sure there is food in the home. They asked her about her credit card debt and she said she's chosen not to pay for that - necessities yes, any extravagance no.
If she really wanted Tori to grow up, she wouldn't pay for anything!!

Whether I agree or not, I suspect that there are not too many grandparents that would sit back and allow their grandchildren to suffer bc of the actions of their idiotic parents - so from that standpoint it's good. I think Tori's lucky that she comes from such wealth that her mother has the ability to help - there's a lot of ppl don't have a very wealthy loved one as a backup.

Hi don't believe a word Candy Spelling says. I've read that she's highly overstated the 'assistance' she gives Tori. She doesn't have to that's for sure.

@LipstickdivaYou do pay tax on inheritance, over a certain amount. It is usually tax over 500,000 cash. You can inherit homes, etc worth millions. If you do not sell or change ownership from a trust to your own name you are okay. The laws were a bit different at the time of Aaron Spellings death . I was just thinking when I made that statement about Tori. . I know she had attorneys, because she wanted more from her inheritance. Also, she probably would have hired an attorneyto check through will, to make sure all "was well". I am just guessing, and it is my opinion from experience. Luckily the housing market took a dump her in CA after my FIL passed,. We got to claim a loss. I was glad my dear FIL was not around to see his 60 year old home take a 400,000 loss.
I could be wrong, but I thought she was also in debt at the time of her Father's death. Attorneys would have worked on account until her inheritance came through.

FYI, you don't pay taxes on inherited property. Of course, if you sell that property, that's a different story.
Idly wondering if she and her mother are still hoarding? Remember that storage place? And she had a room in her house that was jammed-packed with stuff.

That was just a sample. She had many floors of junk. The picture below is her actual stuff.

Absolutely. I don't really know who this is, but this could be anybody who does not know how to manage money. Good lesson to everyone reading this - do not give money to people who do not know how to manage money. You can ruin their lives.
