Re: Top Shopping Channel Pet Peeve

Hours and hours of shows on one topic: like mattress, electronics, kitchen, garden etc. Vary it up a little bit.

Re: Top Shopping Channel Pet Peeve

I just wish they would get on with the beauty demonstration, how to apply the product. The guest will stand there with the product in her hand, ready to apply it, when the host will stop her (meanwhile the clock is ticking, and the time is almost up for this demo) with some stupid chit chat, then we go to a shot of the product up close, then finally (tick tock, tick tock) back to the guest, still holding the product, waiting for the talk to stop and the camera to come to her, she is ready to apply! But wait! The model already is in full make up. Huh? So the guest just barely swooshes something over her face and the host oooohs and ahhhhsss over it. I see nothing, I have seen nothing. Mally never applys anything on a bare faced model. I also dislike when a model raises her eyebrows time and time again while demonstrating what the product did. And then a big, seductive smile. Who needs that. A model is just that. A mannequin. Mannequins don't move. Very irritating to me.

Morning: "This one in particular will not last the presentation. So, hurry to the phones."

…fast forward to 7 pm that same day and the item is still there.
