It's so irritating when I purchase an item through Ibotta or TCB and it is denied for some unknown reason.
I recently purchased from QVC through TCB, the Cook's Country cookbook. TCB has denied the cash back because QVC says it doesn't qualify.
I have put in a dispute with TCB. This is not the first time one of my purchases has been denied from either. Ibotta or TCB. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have used Mr Rebates for 9 years and never a problem. One time QVC didn't credit one of my purchases, and Mrrebates took care of it themselves.

Your cart must be empty before you click through TCB. Otherwise the rebate will be denied.
This is what it says on TCB website FAQ page:
"If you click through to a website, add items to your cart and then come back later to buy them, you won’t qualify for Cash Back."

I always start with an empty cart. I put the item in my wish list and add it to my cart after logging on to TCB.

There was another thread here about this last week, and people were saying that it was QVC that denied the payment and they were trying to figure out why.
I had a problem with Walmart denying a claim. What I'm saying is it might be the retailer ... and not TCB.

when I use Mrrebates I am overly cautious about clicking in. lol because. I have clicked in to a website, then looked, then left to,check a price elsewhere, come back and checked out. That's when I lost my money. Mr rebates fixed it for me. They contacted qvc and I got it back. It was a large one. It was, once when they offered 8% and I bought a 1000 plus ring!! One thing the rep from Mr rebates told me is it can be the browser, and sometimes with QVC especially when you log in and shop around you can get dropped. You know how the q doesn't leave stuff in cart long sometimes. I go to Mr rebates, they send me to qvc, I shop, if it is a while I have something in cart, just before I am ready to check out...I go back to me
rrebates, and check back in. This is my double insurance works every time.

@Flika13 I've had issues with Topcashback, but not the same as yours. I did file claims and most were fulfilled. Problem is, if you buy 2 items at one time, you can really only file a claim for one of them because you can't file a claim for two items in a claim and once you click the date of the purchase, it goes away.
Mostly, my issues had to do with my ad blocker, even though I had clicked on their prompt for me to disable it. I ended up having to do it manually. And then I changed browsers because Chrome, after an update, would crash on me every time I opened it. I forgot to disable my ad blocker in my new browser, but I'm now going through the process of filing claims for all those purchases after I discovered it. However, the next purchase I made also didn't track. I asked them if the app did not work with the Brave browser, but never got a straight answer on that. Instead, they just sent me a copy of their FAQ. So, lI'm assuming it doesn't work with Brave, so I'm going back to Chrome to make make purchases. It's no longer crashing on me, but I have other reasons to continue using Brave as my default browser. BTW, the FAQ also says that you should clear your cookies every time you want to make a purchase. That ain't happening for me.
I joined IBOTTA a long time ago, and had nothing but denials from them. It wasn't for online purchases. It was a huge pain to go through their list of what you could get cash back for, buy the item, and then have them deny it. I checked closely to make sure I was getting the correc size/number/etc. and they would still deniy it, so I moved on.

I posted last week that every single one of my QVC purchases on Topcashback had a line through the amount and it said Declined. I emailed TCB and they responded that the problem was on QVC's end. While I was wondering how to go about contacting a human at QVC who could explain the problem, I signed back in and noticed that my numbers had been fixed. I guess they were having temorary glitches.
