I knew exactly who and what you were talking about before I opened this post.

I saw her on TV ... and just assumed "Tuesday Night Beauty" had a self-tanning product she would be demonstrating.  Host receive products in advance "to test" and give a testimonial...and this one apparently did the trick~!

I will never understand this obsession with tanning products.

Who decided it was better to look you've been caught in a dust storm?

Rarely do I see anyone who looks naturally tanned -- rather most look like they have been blasted with Cheetoh dust.

If you go to Items Recently on Air and look at the video for the Laura Gellar Italian Marble set from TNB last night, you can see what Sandra looked at.  Definitely not orange, just very dark.

My Internet/modem has been out for a day and a half.  So I  haven't read the replies.

Let's not forget that the makeup stylist has the final 'say' as far as maybe using a bit of blush and/or a bit of lip color that would have brightened S's face.

All I saw was flat dark color on her face.  No blush, little or no lip color.

I wasn't paying attention, but DH first noticed and said: 'What happened to Mrs. B*nnet?"  After a few minutes of trying to view my emails in between modem's off and on dilemma, I thought and said the same.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Each time I see or think of self-tanning, I recall Host Amy S. saying something like (not a direct quote):  'Forgive me, but I only had time to self tan the front of my legs'.  In her laughing way.

  I believe she was modeling capris and/or shoes at that time.

Amy is so delightfully, refreshingly, and genuinely honest.

Wonderful trait, if you ask me.  Heart

Her children are very lucky.

@Witchy Woman

I agree.  I prefer to "embrace the pale."
