I'm in New Hampshire.  The abnormally warm weather, coupled with the lack of of snow cover, has had a devasting effect on the businesses in the northern part of our state.  There is not enough snow for the state to groom the snowmobile trails.  Restaurants and lodging are suffering.  It is very sad.

The temperature is fantastic, but the winds are horrific.  It's 59 out.  I've been getting Weather Alerts all morning about the wind.

I've been wearing shorts for about a week now. Temps have been in the mid to upper 80's.

Sorry, we had string of below zero and single digit days, I can't feel worry for your 75 degrees.  Or 90's either.  I'm sure everything is air conditioned.  However, winter in general this year has been relativey mild so I am hoping for an early spring.

@rrpell   We have that happen frequently here in NM.   Many years the Sandia Ski Area atop the mountain at Albuquerque  doesn't even open.   Colorado and NM had great snow in November and December but these warm temp are going to make quick work of it.

It's global warming aka man made global climate change-and the anecdotes about local low temps. or blizzards mean nothing-every month lately is "the warmest January on record" etc...yet we do nothing to try and deal with it.In the future as vast swaths of the inhabited land become unfit for human survival our generation will be blamed for letting this happen.

We've had colder and much wetter weather than usual in SE Florida.  I've had the heat on (sporadically) for over a month.

The last time El Nino was active, the same thing happened.  It often is correlated with less active hurricane seasons, and I am no sun worshipper, so I like the cooler than usual temps.

There have been years when briefly there was below 32 degree weather, but 2016 has been more a season of sustained 40-60 degrees, with an increase to the 70s in the afternoons.  This to me is terrific weather.

Well, the winds finally calmed down last night.  It's such a mess outside.

It's absolutely beautiful out right now - 50's.  I'm going to wear flip flops today!
