I.enjoy the shows and watch when I want and turn off when I want. Everybody starts in too early but this year is different for me and I will not be going out amongst the crowds. I have done some shopping out and about but less time out and no crowds. By watching QVC my husband gets to help shop. We do most of our purchases from QVC.
I do not have a lot of people to shop for and just two smaller grandkids. I enjoy making up goody bags for neighbors and friends.
So far wine, Comfy's, Cheryl cookies, candy, Germack, muffins and rolls, tablets, gifts of beauty, bags to wrap and the list goes on. I can also use ship to for family out of state. For me it's a win win. Anything else I use Amazon prime and local stores.
I will be done by Halloween and then I can enjoy Thanksgiving and decorating and watching movies and hanging out.
Did the same pretty much last year only went out and about amongst the crowds more.

This year I think I'll do all my Christmas shopping at the ATM.

Doesn't each one of us have some kinds of show we think there's too much of?
MIne would be all the winter clothes - hard to think of wearing a knit cap and scarf and winter jacket when the temperature hovers above 80 most of the year!

There are reports warning people to shop early because inventory is limited and also problems with slow shipping. Reasons why retailers are starting Christmas a bit earlier this year.
However, I don't recall much Christmas at QVC during August and September, so from what I see it's not solid Christmas from July through December that I have heard here previously.
Christmas gifts are just more products sold as is the case throughout the year. I am not seeing much decor sold now.
I said this quite a few times here before and beginning to sound like a broken record; however, I know not everyone reads all the posts. Retailers make up to 30% of their annual sales during the Christmas season, so, of course, they are going to push it. They need it to survive. Retail employees need it to keep their jobs.
QVC is a retailer and behaving like one.

Exactly always the right color, and nobody will want to return it.

@Sapphiregal wrote:Why so many days of selling Christmas stuff? First there is Christmas in July. Then I even saw some presentations of Christmas stuff in Aug. and Sept., as well. I'm tired of them already and you know there are just going to be more and more. I know - just don't watch - and I won't.
AMEN!!!!
