Re: Tony Bennett & Lady GaGa On Grammys

When Ben Platt was singing I wondered if any of the hip hop singers thought..oh that's what real singing could sound like. Actual words you can understand.

@Noel7...yes, we are watching. Great performance from Lady GaGa. Tony looked and sounded great! My son saw Lady GaGa in concert and told me it was the best concert he has ever been to..

@Trinity11

I hated her when she first appeared on the scene.  However, I think she is mostly done with the "meat clothing" phase, and she has a gorgeous voice.  I thought she was third best at the Grammys.

She and Tony have a lot of love and respect for each other.  I love their relationship.

@spud188

No matter how long it lasts (and it has lasted too long already), I do not listen to rap and do not consider it music.  I dislike everything about it.  And the lyrics don't matter because, as you say, one cannot understand even one word they say.

Gaga is probably the most talented and versatile performers out there today. I love her, her music, and her total essence on stage.

Lady GaGa was very close to an aunt of hers, if this is the one, it would be a terrible loss for her.

@Noel7 That song is about her aunt Joanne who died when she was only 19. She had lupus. Maybe other health issues too, not sure.

Did anyone notice her pink diamond, said to be an engagement ring. Her boyfriend is a talent agent. I was sad when she and Taylor Kinney broke up.

Re: Tony Bennett & Lady GaGa On Grammys

The only music genre I can think of that I didn’t like was Heavy Metal.  I like hip hop/rap, especially Jay Z.  I also like Gregorian Chant, Country Music, pop, vintage, and opera.

I have no trouble understanding any of it, with the exception of some operas in Italian.
