@Enufstuff, Hello again my sweet friend! I spent some time rereading everything posted here. I marvel of what you have overcome, as well as what you are facing with such dignity and grace. So so talented! And I, too, have a few zip-zip bags. I do business with the I Love Dooley site, and have gotten a great large tote bag for my DIL for Mothers Day. She loves the one I got her for her BD, so this is another color. She needs one for work, as well as for carrying stuff for the GC! I will mention I have bought some smaller Dooney bags there, really light to carry.
My dear father died at 64 of a massive heart attack, and my little mom at 90. She had perfect health until the final couple years. Miss them both!
I think you know how cray-cray I am about health care. And full of advice to anyone I think I could help. I wonder if you have ever tried Lessman's Tumeric supplement. I has helped my back so much over the years. Now my PC Internal med doc is recommending this to patients - Just a thought, from love.
Now M.D.eye disease runs rampant in mother's side of the family. My DB and I have escaped for now, but a relative is being treated. So many strides in treatment, even for the wet M.D. kind. He has been stable for some time. I really have no business advising in medical matters, but I have a big mouth when it comes to the health and well-being of others. One of my many flaws!
I do not remember if I had told or not, but my SUL's dad passed away last summer due to COVID complications. He fought hard for a long time. In a twist of fate, when he was diagnosed, he was only days away from getting his vaccine - he had finally relented. He was such a special man who loved my DD like a daughter. We all loved him and miss him.
I have any creative things for a long time. I used to paint Early
American things, took classes for years. Had several teachers and loved it, but I am all painted out. DH has taken pics of all I did here and for our kids as a reminder. No great talent, but my GD is very artistic.
Will sign off now, wishing you all my very best, and praying for you.
Pam

@SportyShorty07 Thank you so much for the recipes.
They sound delicious. That pork tenderloin is something that we will really love.
I would like to try the roasted potato recipe. Do you leave them whole? I have boiled the tiny red potatoes before and I cut them in half.
The meals that you made last week must have been very much enjoyed by your family. They are so priviliged, having you make such wonderful meals and desserts. I'm sure they
appreciate you.
The desserts that you made are two of my favorites. I have not had Boston Cream Pie or Cheese Cake in a while.
( I have always wondered why a cake would be called Boston Cream Pie).
Last week I did make the Pineapple Upside Down Cake a nd it came out beautiful. It was so yummy with whipped cream.
I had not made that cake since 1965. Imagine! I just had not thought about it all those years.
I have not been online much this week and did not even turn on my computer yesterday. Sewing has taken all my time, when I wasn't preparing meals.
I have been sewing the Poodle Skirts and blouses. I finished last night and took a couple of pictures today. Maybe tomorrow I will post the pictures.
I'm also trying to put away all the clutter from sewing. I don't have a sewing room and all my containers of fabric and trims are in my living room right now.
I'm just trying to make the living room and TV room presentable for company.
Tomorrow is my birthday and my best friend, my oldest daughter and my brother will be visiting . My son and two other daughters and at least one grandson will probably visit on Sunday, being Mother's Day.
It's getting late, so I'd better find a place for all these containers.
Thanks again for the wonderful recipes. You are very kind and generous, to share your culinary delights.

These outfits were some of the hardest to do. The details are so tiny.

@Enufstuff You're very welcome, Enuffstuff ![]()
! You're going to love my spice rubs/marinades and I'm sure they'll be a hit with your family. Thank you for your kind words about my cooking! I really try to make each dinner exciting and special for my family and I love the fact that they enjoy the dishes I make. I like to surprise my family and even make special side dishes. The weather has been warm lately so I made chilled Hawaiian style macaroni salad for them and that's been a hit this week. Good question about the potatoes- I keep them whole when I cook them ![]()
I love baking cakes- I bake all of the birthday cakes for my family and even my own birthday cakes. Its so much cheaper to bake birthday cakes at home. Your pineapple upside down cake sounds absolutely delicious! How wonderful to have baked it in 2024 after not having baked it since 1965
. I bet it was delicious with whipped cream- I also like to eat it with a scoop of vanilla or strawberry ice cream. There's something about timeless, classic cakes that I really love.
I am so proud of you for working so hard on your sewing- you really get into the zone and are so focused on your artwork, I really admire that! I bet your newest sewing projects are lovely. I wish you a very, very Happy Birthday for tomorrow, Enuffstuff! That is so wonderful that your son, two daughters and grandchild are visiting to celebrate your birthday and Mother's Day. You are a beautiful, intelligent, insightful, multi-talented artist and a lovely lady and it is a joy to know you! Thank you for your kindness, support, fun conversations and belief in my abilities ![]()
. You are a delight!! ![]()

Here's the strawberry cheesecake that I made for my birthday last year- I made it entirely from scratch including the strawberry sauce. I wanted it to feel official so I bought the bakery style packaging off of Amazon for the presentation!
Here's my Boston Cream Pie made entirely from scratch
. Plus some mini fried donuts I made from scratch during the pandemic!

So cute, I have many Ginny's, and revlon dolls put away.. I have a Toni, but is it called Tonette? I need to look again, but I don't think I could get into the old doll closet, lol. I would like to,donate, as I know my kids won't keep them. I love the detail on your Toni. . The puffy sleeves with the lace trim are magnificent. So tiny. Do you hand sew those?
