I'm dreading two different days this upcoming season. I have both family and friends who are ok people until they get going on hot topics such as politics, religion, finance, etc. They are absolutely obnoxious and insulting to those with a differing opinion.

Don't they know it ruins the good time others are having or don't they care? One is my brother. I only see him once a year and he is impossible to stand during an election cycle. Please believe that I have said to him and others, "we will NOT be talking about this at the Christmas dinner table."

Don't you just love these touchy holidays?
