Re: Today’s “exciting” topic- Mr. Clean Erasers

Never had much luck with them except for removing marks on a wall. They've always crumbled for me. I have noticed recently that they're touting "new and improved" that don't fall apart. I don't think I like them enough to try again. Mr Clean is getting slack in his old age.

I believe all original erasers came from Germany. Anyone notice where they are now made?

I never liked them...they fall apart quickly and then there is the mess  of the 'eraser' to clean up.  I  never understood their popularity.

Yes, I've noticed a decline in quality with these erasers. Back in the day, they could be used over and over many times. Now once or twice and it crumbles in my hand.

@LuckyCharm   Hope I don't get skewered for dancing to the left of topic....but I envy you your soft pink lightbulbs.  They are the only kind I ever used until the incandescent purge began.  I hope that since LED bulbs are available in bright white and soft white

that they will come up with a good soft pink version soon.  Everyone looks better in a soft pink light.

Me too and frankly, I'm not sure this topic isn't a bit too controversial for these forums...

As for the erasers, like someone else said, on some things, they last through multiple uses and for some things it's one and done. I've decided I prefer the thin sheets to the original sponge size.

Heck yea. The nature of today's world in which we live. Pay more and get less.

What am I missing with these? I have tried so many times to use them to clean and not one time did they do anything...didn't clean anything...at all...but crumbled up and made a mess. Huge waste of money. I won't ever try them again.

No need for this inferior product when we are blessed to have Bar Keeper's Friend!  Who is a friend of mine!  I was one and done with Mr. Clean.

Is it called Magic Eraser because it disappears right before your eyes?
