Today's a good day to read my book

[ Edited ]

It's either that, or sew, or listen to the radio.

Too much on t.v. I don't want to see, I'm not interested in posting in here today. I need some solitary time and need to let the brain rest. I have, I think, one cell left.

Maybe the library. So is the rain and gray outside. My brother's dog is ill and old and to lose his best friend will devistate him.

I don't even want to go on a trip anymore, because almost everywhere you see, someone is rioting about something.  It's just all wearing me out and too much to think about, I've OD'd on the whole mess. I need a day of peace. The situation of the world is upsetting and not much of anything I can do about the whole mess. I never thought this world would be this messed up.

Anyone else need some quiet time too? I think it's a sort of depression.

I've turned off the so called news because it isn't.  Sure, I'm having an ordeal going on in my life but I'm not going to let it get me down.

Where there is life, there is hope regardless of the situations you see going on around you.

With all the troubles in the world, this is still the best darned country to be living in.

Anyone else need some quiet time too?  Yeah, on the beach!!

Hmmmm ...?  Sounds like a trip is in order!  I see a beach in your future, with huge waves bouncing against the surf.  Snorkeling, swimming, music ...

@qualitygal

Yes, most everyone needs some peace and quiet. Maybe today is a day for you to enjoy what you like to do.

Watching the news can be difficult day after day......maybe skip the news today.

Imagine all the fun you will have on your trip. Do you have all  of your trip planned?

I think it’s good to give yourself a break from the crazy once in a while; focus on good things and do nurturing things for yourself.  My escape is taking long walks in nature.  Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get out much because of all the rain.  It gets to me so sometimes I go out with my umbrella to restore my sanity and connect with nature.  I was having a bad day the other day and saw some beautiful moments that I was able to photograph. They really lifted my heart.  Even in the rain there was beauty.

LOVELY!  Suppose that was your backyard and all you had to do was look out the window!

Wow!
