Grateful ...

- I havent just lost my beloved "Grand Parent(s), or Parent(s)....(again).
- That I dont have to start a new job in my 70s, & perform that job under a microscope
I'm also thankful I don't have to work in this environment. Things were changing before I retired but it's worse now. I'm in an at-will state and it has adopted other laws resulting in employees losing most of their employment rights and benefits.
My PhD dad taught middle and high school his whole life. He is now 90 and told me he'd leave the profession if he had to teach in the current environment.
I'm thankful for so many things but I bore everyone with the list. ![]()

What a nice topic. My faith, husband of 52 years and getting out of bed and being able to walk. I am at my infusion center and am so thankful for my nurses. It's been a roller coaster ride for 21 years.

I am grateful because 6 years ago when I went into heart failure after my first heart attack, I never thought for one minute that I would make it to six years later. Doing well and exercising like I used to.
I am also grateful for the wonderful husband I married over 47 years ago. He has been my "rock" and has gotten me through so many illnesses never complaining and just an all around good guy.
Nice thread @JoyFilled Warrior .![]()

I’m thankful for what the Lord has trusted to bless me with at the present moment, for my grown children, my dogs, wild animals, etc!
And GLENDA, I’m riding the same roller coaster you are on! That roller coaster makes us view life differently and appreciate what we actually can do-even if takes 3x as long and makes us feel our body doing it (pain). But this ride makes us love and appreciate the little stuff, relationships, and life more. Love back to you and everyone reading this post.
Life and people are taken for granted…we are all on the same time clock, we are not guaranteed life tomorrow. So, y’all, if you haven’t, slow down a little, notice the smaller joys in life, and love and make time for each other
Thanks for your kind words.
