This is not directed to any specific poster(s), but just a general observation. If we want a thread or even the forums to continue, let's all make an effort to not personally attack others for their opinion. JMHO

This is Q's site and they can do anything they want with it.
Nothing in life is 'fair' when it's all about one person.

It's Q's site but our money to spend or not on Q's offerings. Can they really afford to antagonize posters?

@occasionalrain How are they antagonizing posters? By deleting a thread? Pretty sad IMO if a person gets that upset over it. I agree with previous poster--their site their rules.

Perhaps you weren't here or have forgotten when the Q decided to close the Forums. Posters canceled orders, many left and haven't returned to post or buy.

QVC and HSN have, conservatively, 7.5 million actual customers who make purchases. The vast majority of them likely have no idea that these forums even exist.
Add to that the fact that active posters claim to never buy from QVC.
My opinion is that these forums matter nothing to QVC Group’s business model and forecasts. Not a bit....not a dot....no, not a lot.

For me and perhaps others, it isn't a matter of getting 'that' upset about deletions, over which I certainly don't lose sleep. It's a matter of them being unnecessary and frankly sort of puerile. Yes, these are their boards but if the goal is about attracting potential customers and retaining existing customers, it would seem important that along with the boards having a focus on QVC-related material, they also permit discussion of topics of interest without too frequent deletions based on 'unkind', 'argumentative' and 'controversial'. After all, in the real world, not everything is squeaky clean.

I just wish more who constantly cause issues would be banned. I think a lot would be taken care of if we could block some posters we don't want to listen to. Troublemakers. Ones who have an agenda and insert it to so many discussions.
