We were hit with an ice storm last week. A tip I saw on the news before our storm hit was for people in the area that didn't have garages. Don't know how many people down south that may involve, but they said to pull the windshield wipers out from the windshield and cover them with a pair of athletic socks. Be sure to leave the wipers out from the windshield after you put the socks over them. A friend of mine tried it and said it worked like a charm. Just thought I would pass that along in case it might help anyone.

This bears repeating. I saw my dh do that this weekend. He didn't know about the socks though.

Hey my sweet angel....I'm hanging on, Scottie! ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$ Electricity, don't fails me now! ${#emotions_dlg.w00t}$ I'm hungry....why does the cold weather make me hungry? ${#emotions_dlg.lol}$ Well, you read what I wrote about the weather and just hoping and praying all of us get through this....and it's going up North, so I'm praying for all those people in the way of all this mess.

You are so sweet Kittykat. I'm praying for you. Years ago we had an ice storm and didn't have power in January for 3 days. You know I live up 'noth" so it was awful. thank goodness for generators. Hope you have one!
