Here in SC at 11:00 it's 90 with a feels like 94. We need rain badly and there is none in sight - not even a t-storm. And, with the humidity being low there is an elevated wildfire potential.

I am in agreement about the heat and humidity and hating it.  First of all it is unhealthy air which is why it is detrimental to those with respiratory ailments.  Secondly, it knocks me out as far as energy levels are concerned and I am forced to have the air conditioner on. I can tolerate a day or two of hot and humid weather but not much more than that.  Fortunately I live in an area where the seasons change and that is good for me.

The cool weather always motivates me to be busy and be out and about.  I'm sure everyone has their preference with the weather and that is fine I am just speaking for myself.

Enjoy the day!

We are having a lot of rain here in my part of Ohio but yesterday was very humid.  We had to turn the a/c on last week, then I turned it off and it had to go back on again during the day.  DH's allergies are terrible so it will pretty much have to stay on.

It's ugly and gloomy outside today.  I think it's supposed to get better for the weekend but the temps are supposed to be cooler and no humidity.  So far this "spring" has been dreadful.

We finally had signs of spring/summer in upstate NY over the weekend.  It's back to rain and 50's today.  This has been a horrible spring.

Kaydee50, we have similar weather in Michigan. It's okay with me, too!

Me, too.  Doesn't take long for me.  I HATE hot weather!  Unfortunately, I live in the hot, horrid, humid south where it's miserable from April until November.

We're already breaking heat and humidity records here in the southeast, and it's not a good sign.   I heard on the news that our country is now in the midst of a record-breaking 12 uninterrupted days of damaging and deadly tornadoes.    The new normal is worrisome.
