Tipping at a Buffet - same 15-20%?

Seeing the thread about tipping for food deliveries made me wonder:

Do you tip your usual 15-20% for a buffet where the wait staff only refill your drinks and remove used plates?

We go out every Sunday after church for brunch, minimum headcount is 2 (1 son + myself), but usually it's 4 (2 sons, 1 son's gf and myself). Total bill is about $45 w/o tip. I leave $5; $8 if it's really great service.

I see most all other tables leaving $1/person, tops.
