A drunk driver wreaking havoc today, unbelievable...........

2 previous arrests for drunk driving. So, was he allowed (still has his licence) to drive or did he say "F it, I'm going to drive no matter what?".
UNTIL we come down HARD on repeat offenders, this will just keep on going. I'm all for the device that attaches to a car that you have to blow into in order to make it start; any booze, it doesn't start.
Of course, this means NOTHING to a drunk and they'll find another car to drive.
Geez, do NOT get me started...
*Edited because my sentence was incomplete.

So senseless...

If this is a drunk driving incident, the driver should be punished to the greatest extent of the law. He killed somebody. If, on the other hand, there are connections to terrorist groups, there should be a a definitive punishment.

I can't seem to find anything stating he was drunk when the accident occurred. Yes he had 2 priors for drunk driving but that doesn't mean he was drunk when he did this.

I can't either.

This article doesn't. I hadn't read it when I posted; I read an article on my phone that states he was driving under the influence of alcohol AKA drunk.

We had a drunk driver take out an entire family last weekend on a busy four lane highway Northwest of Albuquerque. Plowed head on into parents and two toddlers killing everybody including himself. Others in the drunk's car said they had been drinking plus the scene was littered with beer cans. They could be charged under state law because they didn't stop the drunk from driving.

@Lipstickdiva, @Mj12, latest reports in NYC say that when the NYPD apprehended the driver with the help of bystanders (he was trying to get away), they reported that the driver was clearly under the influence of something. He is currently being tested to determine what the substance was (alcohol, marijuana, other drugs). Apparently he has had DUI issues before, as well as license suspensions.

I think it is finally time for him to do a little jail time. How did anyone trust someone with all of those incidents on their record to behave as a responsible citizen.he doesn't seem to have developed enough sense to quit drinking on his own.
