Time to deal with the yard. 😬

I've skipped  taking the trash  and recycling  bins  out a few weeks because of weather conditions .Snow , ice, then giant puddles from melting. My knee has been acting up , so I don't push it. Well now that everything is clear , my yard and walkway is covered  with pinecones . I had to laugh because trying to get those huge bins wheeled over the pinecones  with my cane was interesting. I guess it's time to do some raking , at least until the next weather event. After all it's only March and this is the northeast .  Fingers crossed that the worst is over. 🤷‍♀️

@QVCkitty1   -  The trash hauling company my city uses has a option for those that need it for the guy driving to come and take the bins to the curb and return them.  You just have to register with them.  Maybe this is available in your area.  Might be worth a call to your city or trash hauling company.

@QVCkitty1   That's a good thing having my DH to do it. We trade off tasks until we get out of here. Lawn, garbage and yard chores are one reason we're going to an apartment for others in charge.

After the storms stop today, I have the job of cutting back my mums and lavendar. I don't like when the newer blooms come in through the dead foliage. I also have liriopi lining a long circular driveway...uh, DH will do that this weekend.

Today is our day with our yard guy, but with the bad weather, I doubt he'll make it. That's a big expense and another reason to move.

@DrakesMomma @I'm temporarily on my own and I've had neighbors offer to assist me when they see me struggling , but I'm a stubborn old cuss and I find it difficult to accept help . Crazy I know.

@Shanus  Are you going to have to transition your dog from having a yard to walking for potty times?

Re: Time to deal with the yard. 😬

We had 35 mph wind all day yesterday and last night, with gusts up to 45.  It was just awful.  It blew over a big patio table with an umbrella (rolled up and tied with the strap, not put up) over.

Ruined the umbrella which was in a heavy stand but I think the table is ok.

@cindyNC   Oh yes and dredding it. The vet said to wait until we move and then just take her out at scheuled times and she'll learn to go then or hold it. Pee Pads on the balcony for accidents.
