Regarding the time change, two different TV stations had segments this evening about the dangers of driving after this occurs. I love the longer daylight in the evening, but wish they would just choose one time and leave it for the entire time. Studies show, no energy savings, farmers don’t need it and all of the other propaganda they claim are benefits.

What are your thoughts?

There is a bill in the Florida state legislature right now to leave DST in all year round. It is good for the tourist business for it to be light out later, however the PTA assoc. is fighting it because the poor little kids will be going to school in the dark if it passes. So who will win - the kids or the tourists?

If they just leave it on Standard time, the mornings are getting light about 6:00 and the day before the time changed it was after 6:30 before it got to be dusk. This would progress as the days pass. Maybe not get to 9:00, but that would be fine with me.

I live in Florida and am a senior.  Keep it on daylight savings time.  I don't know about tourists;but, my senior community votes for daylight savings time.

When we stayed on DST all year my kids when to school in total darkness.   It wasn't even daylight here until 11 AM, during the shortest part of winter . No child should ever be put in danger ,over something ,that offers no savings at all ,to anyone

Change school hours to coordinate with the time.

Some people have jobs, that  work around their childs school day.. Are we just going to change everything, so people can have an extra hr of daylight?  Talk about the tail wagging the dog

The darkness in the morning really concerns me, my Grandchildren are out there around 6:00 am, in the dark, not a good situation. I don’t like the dark mornings either.

@Fiero Woman  Parents/caregivers have jobs.  The employers would have to change shift schedules/opening times/etc.

Not doable.
