Woke up this morning and turned on the TV in the bedroom and no QVC.   ????? So I rebooted, did a channel search (or whatever they call it) and nothing.  OK...out to the living room TV - yes have QVC on that TV.   ??????   Looked at the latest bunch of mail I got from TWC and sure enough they have switched 4 channels to HD and one of them is QVC and unless I get yet another set top box for the bedroom TV  I am loosing 4 channels.  So....my bill went up in September and in November I loose 4 channels.  I was thinking about going to "standard" cable but when I do that I loose the one set top box I have and then I would not have QVC at all!    I know there are more important things in life but it is one thing after the other with TWC and I don't like getting ripped off!    Smiley Frustrated

You can watch TV online of course, if you have a computer of some sort in the bedroom.  That's what I do, since I objected to paying for a second set-top box.

TWC is now Suez They sold or changed  their name. I think they sold.

Because TWC was the first cable company ever " way, way  back when" and it was right in my town,so convient for me,i could walk there..lol...  I was very  sad a few yrs ago when we (my whole family) switched to Verizon but now I am sooooooo happy we did.

This happened to my Brighthouse cable in Florida which is owned by TWC.  QVC used to be on channel 21, now it's gone from the 2 tv's that do not have cable boxes.  Yet HSN is still available on channel 22.  I wonder why they would

take away a shopping channel?

I can still get QVC on the huge tv in the living room with the cable box/DVR.  I will not pay more to get additional cable boxes.  I really don't watch much QVC anyway, it's more of a backround noise.  I will have to make do.

Our TWC difficulties are more w/ technical problems, waking up to find "updates" during the night & many functions have changed or even after booting many times, the equipment is faulty & has to be exchanged. . We've had to change DVRs too many times to count over the years which means also going through SERIES MANAGER to put in all my "scheduled to record" shows. It's happened so often that we keep an updated list of show/day/time/channel so we can easily reprogram the new dvr. Costs are way too high, but they were the only cable system available here for a long time. Most of my neighbors have changed to Direct TV & we're waiting to get an appt. and quotes so we can change, too.

TWC is always raising their rates, and we don't even get the new QVC beauty channel, crazy.

I have a neighbor that was having issues with Cablevision - I'm not sure exactly what it was other than knowing that she had an old television and whatever they did she wasn't able to get a lot of channels anymore.

She itched, moaned and complained so loudly that they gave her a new flat screen television.  I imagine it was because they were sick of hearing from her and knowing her, it was probably once a day until the issue was resolved to her liking...
