I've never posted anything on here before, but I wanted to ask other shoppers of Tignanello bags if they've noticed a decline in the quality. I own about 13 of their handbags, which I love, and have only noticed issues with the last four I've purchased. The previous ones never had any problems. Recent problems have been with the zippers they've switched to, crooked sewing, and the leather itself.
Upon reading reviews on several styles Tig has recently featured on their presentations, I see that others are having some problems as well--such as straps coming apart and the dye from their suede bags bleeding onto clothing. Now I realize that no company can always make perfect products. There will be flaws in the manufacturing process from time to time. It just seems that there have been more problems in the last few months than there ever were in the past. I've heard rumors that Tig was bought out by another company. I don't know if that's true, but if so, that might explain some of the issues (especially with the zippers!).
Would love to hear the opinions of other shoppers about all of this. Also, maybe someone out there knows whether or not Tig is now owned by another company.
