Many of the positive posts are a bit mindless. I don't personally crave canned or recycled uplift.

But ShowMe, I agree that the forum could turn toward the positive. Not so much in theme as in giving other posters more of a break and allowing posters more of a conversation without thread takeovers, trolls, and new nics wreaking havoc.

Life is upsetting. It to me is not upsetting to discuss matters that are sad. It is upsetting to discuss them in an atmo of weird trolls, Stepford posts, and general hostility. We can enjoy each others' good times and also try to help in bad times. That is my sense of this BB. It is outdated, no doubt, in 2014.
