Every time there's a Dyson hair tool on air, this comes up. I have the Air Strait and would buy it again in a heartbeat.  Well worth it for the speed at which it dries my hair and how it doesn't damage it.  I have to be careful with my hair.

For those who wouldn't spend that much on a hair dryer or flat iron or curling iron, there are plenty of less expensive options, so enjoy!

Does the Air Strait work to smooth wavy/curly hair?

Yes, it dries it super fast and then you use it as a sort of flat iron.  I had been getting keratin treatments for years and now I've stopped.  This dryer leaves my hair looking better than with the keratin treatment and for what I was spending for them, it paid for itself in 6 months.

I hope the Dyson hair dryer doesn't run on a Dyson battery pack like the cordless vacuum or you'll never get your hair dry. HA!

I am so tired of some criticizing others for how they spend their money. I will spend on a Dyson that works for my hair every day than $448.00 on a Dooney Florentine leather bag. There are others that are $500+  No one would bat an eye or use every day.

You may drive a BMW and me a Ford, more power to you, no putting down from me.  Buy what you want and can or pass on bye but please no criticism.

It's more than your normal everyday curling iron.

Well said @mspatmac .  Why pass judgement on how others spend their money?

Same as the daily outrage about buyers spending their own money on QVC for food items.

No one forces anyone else to buy it.....or eat it.

Yes, everything is relative.  I've got friends that scoff because I spend $$$ on my children's tuition to a parochial school.  They, on the other hand, opt for public school for their children.  Which is fine with me.  As Sly & The Family Stone sang, Different strokes for different folks.  Smiley Happy
