I watched the coronation and noticed that Prince Andrew stopped beside of the place on the floor that was adorned with flowers as they entered Westminster. He bowed quickly then moved along.
What is there, a tribute, or deceased kings? Just curious.

@Coastalcarolina - I've never been to Westminster, but DD spent a mini semester at a college near there. She said a lot of famous people, royal and others, are buried in chambers underground.
Maybe he was acknowledging an ancestor. I think Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip are buried under the Abbey, but more toward the front of it.

I went to look at the history of this event. Very moving. A state funeral given for this brave soldier who represented thousands. Thank you for enlightening me.

@KKJ Yes. Princess Margaret was cremated and her ashes are burried next the tomb of the Queen Mother and her father George IV.
