@ProudMa   I agree, immediate channel change for me, and once a show gets political, I'm done.  Soon there will nothing to watch.

Try streaming; I’ve got endless options and more that I’d really love to watch than I’ll ever have time for.

Same. I prefer life affirming shows with excitement, depth, and a fundamental morality to them. I don't consider that political in the slightest.

So I've had to work hard to find shows and movies that don't center around murder --and that are not insipid or inane. With streaming I have found plenty.

There are many Covid references on THE CONNERS. I was thinking how odd those episodes will look in reruns. Kind of like when gas lines are mentioned in 1970's shows.

That's what I was thinking too...and will these classic TV channels even want to pick up reruns reminding people about the Covid crisis.....

Then again, this may just be the beginning of mask-wearing. It is very possible that it will become the new normal and those watching shows in the future will see it as the way things are while shows no masks worn will cause conversation.

Health experts warn that, as bad as it is, this is our beginner pandemic and that there are more deadly ones coming our way. Doesn’t make me look forward to tossing my masks. Ever.
