Why is it when you add 30+ years on to that adorable child, that body image is no longer so cute in our society?

Ok, don't pounce on me but, IMO, that cute baby is being over fed.  I've seen many baby pictures of people that are obese adults saying that this is where it started.  I'm not saying that's the case with all chubby babies, of course.
