here's the story--I brought home a treadmill that used to belong to my mother-in-law (but she died very recently & told me to take it when she did). Anyway, it is 'stuck' on medium speed (it has set still for about 2 1/2-3 years) which is about 1/2 the speed I'm used to walking. I'm hoping with use, it will get back up to speed.
I walk 6 miles in and hour and a half, but according the speed of this thing I would be walking 6 miles in 3 hours (slower than a snails pace). I don't have 3 hours!, and it would be hard to squeeze in 2 more hours to make the 6 miles I usually walk.
I haven't been walking lately because of the weather around here...today it is 40 degrees and very windy and I thought if I brought the treadmill home I would be able to walk regardless of the weather.
Should I just walk when I can for as long as I can at the medium speed, because it's better than nothing, or wait until the weather is nicer?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Any ideas?
