I just realized I am the same age (59) as my mother-in-law was when I married my husband/her son. We have been married 27 years and I can still remember thinking how old my MIL looked when I first met her. What's even worse, I can still remember what she looked like each how much she aged every 5 years or so. She was a vile, twisted, very sick old woman who caused nothing but heartache, abuse, and pain. But I can't believe I am that age now. HER age now. Wow.
