This Week's Shawn Podcast with Vivica A. Fox

Just finished watching....loved it. Something about their chemistry worked...loved the questions Shawn asked her, she got a lot in, and stayed on a steady track, related some of her own experiences when appropriate to what she was asking Vivica.

I have to say I don't know a lot of Vivica's acting work, I just don't watch a lot of movies, and never knew she had an HSN line... but such a beautiful woman, rocking 61, was open and direct and articulate.

So once again, I thoroughly enjoyed Shawn's podcast. Once again, I'll keep repeating how I love her at this job...great niche for her. She just gets down to it with people, bringing out "the real" in everyone, and tayloring things to her guest...so she "gets the real" somewhat differently with everyone, though some are her standard questions, which I also love to see how everyone responds differently to them. But she flows and weaves and bounces off where the guest takes her well.

She's brave in what she asks of people also, direct...always giving them the "option to opt out if we take it to a place you don't want to go"...but I find...everyone goes there with her. And on that note...the end brought me to tears...I appreciated Shawn giving Vivica the opportunity to open up, and that Vivica was vulnerable & authentically went there.

A real good one. Recommend for those that like Shawn's podcast, and/or Vivica A. Fox.

@amyb thanks for the heads up. She has to be one of the most gorgeous women . She tops the list, especially in her prime. I know she was on SoulTrain years ago. You cn vet me on this, as I'm not checking my facts here...but I remember she once had something to do with Prince as well of course she has had a TV and film career. I don't know much about her, but love Shawn's pod casts. I check it out tonight!!!

ETA. @amyb I don't watch TV. So I am asking, does Vivian Fox sell on QVC? What connection does she have To QVC tht Shawn woukd interview her? Curious.

Apparently she has a clothing line (1 year old) on HSN.

Vivica has also done many movies on the Lifetime Network.

This was one of my favorites. I've always loved Vivica A Fox especially her Hallmark and LIfetime movies.

I loved how Shawn described in a few words the role of a caretaker.

It was a really touching part at the end.

Mally, Melissa Rivers and Dennis Basso and Vivica are my favorites so far.

I'm always so glad when someone mentions these because I forget to see the latest. So thank you too @amyb!

I don't watch them all because not interested in everyone she interviews.

She was really good in this one. I think the people she especially feels comfortable with are her best ones.

I really like Vivica. Now I want to check out Shawn's podcast.

I also haven't seen much of Vivica's fashion line on HSN, so I'll look online today.

@Caaareful Shopper Thank you for posting her movie/tv credits, in case I ever want to check one out.

I did see "Soul Food" many many moons ago, and enjoyed it...might have to dig that one up again.

I don't watch Young & The Restless, but I know some commenters here do, and I think there is a Y&R thread here...Vivica says she's doing a story arc on there, currently.
