I'm okay...Dad just had an extremely short fuse.

He is 85 and still has a short stupid temper. 

I grew up knowing if he was mad at my mom (who he was always decent to) I'd get yelled at or hit for the slightest infractions.  

Once I figured this out - staying in my room for long periods of time, allowed me to avoid him. It was my answer for avoiding the reign of UNNECESSARY rant.

He never did his TERROR RANT on my sister (I'm 6 yrs older than her) - and to this day he is still a bigger J.O. to me than to her.

I love him, dearly...he taught me to STAND up for myself and not take ****** from bullies.

And I did not, infact I stood up & fought kids bullying me & other kids that werent' able to stand up for themselves. Ironic huh?

Hey - everyone it seems has had a few kid issues - but as an adult, I'm past it. 

Though I do remind him should he become indigent - don't look at me - go to my sister's house.

i apologize...it was chickenbutt that invited Cheetos to my thread...but it certainly brought some 'issues' to a simple thread....asking a simple question...you also have a wonderful evening.........
