I ordered a few items from Amazon, and I just got a notice that my order was going to be delayed in shipping.
I live in northwestern part of California. I went on Amazon to track the shipping.
It was happily making its way to me, stopping in Oakland, then it got shipped to Seattle!
I know that I'll get it eventually, but I just think that it's funny that my packed flew right over me!
Oh, well. These things sometimes happen.
Whatcha going to do?
Oh, and p.s. I have Prime!

I had a package arrive at my post office - and indicted 'out for delivery' only to not arrive that day. The status was changed and five days later the package was in Washington, DC. Three weeks after being mailed the item arrive at my home but it came in a round-a-bout way.

I had that happen with my passport several years ago! It came to my city, then shipped to a city about 3 hours away and sat there for a couple of days. I ended up having to call the USPS and they got it to me the next day. My passport was taking a trip without me ![]()
