I think she was saying Butkus, as in the footfall player, not Buttkiss. Either way, she wasn't having it.

That is funny! Thanks for posting. I think one of our cats would do that. She is so bad (but we love her) She swats at me from "her" space on the top of our chair, when I decorate the window for the holidays. (If I remember I have DH move the chair first). Well thankfully our mailbox is at the end of the driveway so she cant attack the mailman. lol

My cat use to sit in the window and growl when the mailman walked by. If he was at the front door he would jump up and bang the storm door with his paw and growl. It was pretty funny.

If anyone came over he would ran out to say hi and then follow them around. He loved people just not the mailman.

My parents' dog seems to have a fascination with surgical masks.

Since my dad's blood counts have been low at times, and I've had the flu, there have been times when I've had to wear a mask at my parents' house.

Their schnoodle becomes fixated on the mask when I wear one. I can't tell if she's trying to kiss me through the mask or trying to get the thing off of my face. She seems confused--or perhaps, tormented??--by the masks. She will not get off of my lap and leave me alone when I'm wearing one.

I have to wonder if animals are bothered by masks. Masks conceal our facial expressions, which may be one reason why people find them creepy, and I suspect animals may feel creeped-out by them as well.
