And there are a lot of people who haven't.  

I got nothing and when I check the IRS website for a status, I get a message that they have no information available.

I usually food shop on Monday mid-afternoon...holy crow from Sams to local store I haven't seen shopping carts overflowing and long lines since the "shortages" created at the beginning of the pandemic & shut down!

As I went to the meat area of Sams I saw it was "slim pickings" same at WM and local food store.

While waiting in checkout line there was a young & I mean young (under 25) 3 shopping carts filled with food, diapers, laundry cleaning stuff, clothes to pet food😳.  They had baby and 3 toddler age children.

I jokingly said "Boy, glad I don't have to feed or cloth them I'd be broke!". The kid said "oh,  we received our stimulus on Saturday".  I said "I'm glad you're putting it to good use!".  The girl said "we've never had this kinda money!". I wished them well.

When checking out at Sams asked the cashier  (lines were 10+deep, full carts) she said over the weekend they had a waiting line to get in the store..and the couple in front of me (middle age) spent $700...oh and paper aisle was "very low"...

I'm glad to see people in need are buying the essentials & stocking up🙂 BUT I was more surprised a family w/several kids received additional funds up to $5,600!  I had no idea my friends told me.  

Definitely many are stimulating the economy ...🙂

The conversation .... proper grammar when stating who said what, to my knowledge.  At least, that's how I was taught!!  As for quotes around single word that was for emphasis only...

The "" marks had nothing to do with point I was making.  the point I did make was

The stimulus check came in good use for many🙂🙂
