Are sold and sold on T.V. like they're the best things sense sliced bread the it thing to have. I know fashion is different in different areas of the country. Me I'm in teh Pacific N.W. what I don't see or very rarely are.
Cold Shoulder tops I've seen maybe 3 out 100 women wear one in thae past 18 months probably.
No LOGO layering type clothing double and triple (A cymetrical, shark bite hems etc) just your classic shirt of some type under a cardingan or blazer.
No message T-Shirts i.e. (Peace Love World) on women over the age 25. Some teens yes but rarely.
Not really seeing any women sparkle and shine. I dn't see any women and think OH!! quack, quack.
Not anything wrong with the above type of clothing etc. just curious what you see in your area or if you see alot of things shown on T.V.
I don't know maybe my community area is boring? LOL they're stylish people yes very much so. We all love our riding boots and booties etc. Yes women wear leggings and jeans etc. Nice handbags D&B Kate spade, coach etc.

Phoenix: We dress for the weather. Summer: "anything goes"
Winter: Lots of layers over the "anything goes"

CA..it just depends. We wore Uggs here, long before anyone else in the country knew about them. And those of us in coastal communities, will likely to continue to wear them long after other areas have given them up. They just work for us.
I dont think casual athletic wear will ever go away here. Most of us wear it because we really are going to need this style of clothing for the exercise or gym workouts we’ll do during the day, but for practical reasons, we may wear it all day.

@Westshopper Don’t really see any of it where I Iive or where I’ve traveled over the last few years. So who’s buying these things?

Im also here in the Pacific northwest, I've made the same observations as you. I don't see much of these styles at all. I am not in a big city, though, so it might be different elsewhere. I don't think too many people "dress up" to go to the grocery store or walmart. Mostly I see jeans and t-shirts or hoodies.

Whoa, what I see is the opposite of what you have seen. I don’t like the cold shoulder look but I see it a lot, on TV, in ads, etc.
The others, too. I am sure riding booties are regional, not pervasive.

I live in the tri-state area and I mostly see a sea of blue jeans, exercise wear better known as athleisure wear and very somber clothing. Everyone dresses in black and gray. Rarely ever see any bright colors. Clothing like Logo and the Sparkle and Shine stuff.....I have never seen anywhere near where I live.
My kids work in Manhattan and have to dress for their professions. My son wears a suit and tie and my daughter wears a lot of suits. On their leisure hours they wear J Crew, Theory and my daughter also wears lululemon. My son likes shopping in Barney's for jeans and shirts. Everything is very low key and casual for weekend wear.

Hi @Trinity11
I wear a lot of black and gray, it’s been that way for a long time. I think it’s a city thing.

Must be @Noel7. I just bought a blouse that is black and white and it is a departure for me. I seem to have an awful lot of black in my closet and grey sweaters. LOL
O/T....I hope that your surgery wasn't too painful and you are recovering. I have been thinking of you and saying a little prayer that things will start getting better.

Oh, thank you! It’s not scheduled until the beginning of April. I am trying to remain calm 🙃. @Trinity11
