I know we need to teach the espteric things of love, kindness compassion, but I am thinking more along the lines of practical skills.

What have you taught your children and what skills were you not taught that you wish you had?

I have taught my kids to do their own laundry and am now teaching my older son to drive (he will also have Driver's ed) and pump the gas! Today he made his first trip through the Bank Drive up window.

My kids also have thir own bank accounts with debit cards to learn to manage money.

I wish I knew how to drive a stick shift and change a tire!
