I'm fairly certain I don't have any gaps anywhere.

I have always had and still have thigh gap because I carry my weight as an apple shape. I never starved.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I remember when it was an "in" thing to go bra-less & they said to be able to pull it off, you had to not be able to hold a pencil underneath your boob. Heck, I could put a whole box of pencils under there! Needless to say, I didn't run around bra-less much!

One can have muscular thighs without having them touch. Mine are muscular although not as much as they used to be.

Yep.

Despite having a thigh gap I also have muscular legs. Not bulky muscular but I do pilates and it lengthens the muscles. I have always been tall and skinny, no matter how much I ate. I was called Olive Oil when I was younger and was 5'10" when I was in 4th grade, I hated that. I was skinny as a baby even, not a cute baby at all. I was 24 inches long when I was born and my dad called me a spider monkey.

I hate to see girls not eating to get this. That is sad. Some people won't have it no matter how skinny they are because their bodies just aren't build like that.

I guess the teasing I took when I was younger makes it hard for me to believe that this is now something that is actually wanted. Why do women always go to some crazy extent for a fad, why is it never men?

People should just worry about being a healthy weight, not all this crazy stuff they do to please everyone.

Well I have always had a thigh gap but now they touch each other and when I walk they touch each other..........I am fat for the first time in my life...I have gained 36 pounds......and I can't get it off but I am not going to flip out about it........I just have to find all new clothes.........I hope being with my grandbaby I will be very busy up and down and not resting so much........I eat all the time now and I can't get full......so I don't know what is going on if its the iron tablets or the klonopin or proazac........but I can't deal with being over weight in worry. They will not give me diet pills and the pills on the market do not work they are caffeine and I am not going to smoke to eat less........it is just the way it is. I still love me..........

I remember that! Glad I'm not the only one. I thought I had to be really out of shape and felt kind of bad. I could always hold a pencil underneath .. since I got them.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

When I was in high school back in the mid 70's I was told that it meant you were a loose woman...ya know getting it a lot LOL.

I knew I wasn't, I was just really thin...but it made me feel very self conscious.
