The OP some time ago had a long standing thread claiming she was going to literally die without her A/C during a terrible heat wave her state was having. Everyone was coddling her and giving her suggestions on how to stay alive. One of her final posts said she was going to sign off but wasn't sure if she was going to make it through the night without A/c. I guess she forgot that. Those who thought she was exaggerating got yelled out by the compassionate ones.

How would you know that since you only created your account on Dec 3rd? Oh, that's right, you are another reincarnation of someone that likes to pot stir. Not sure what your beef with Ford is, but she is a lovely lady and she is completely entitled to her opinion and views. If you are here to abuse her, please stop. I can see Ford's point that sometimes the constant bombardment of the bad weather gets tiresome, but as I have expressed, I think more is better in this case. Regardless, stop slamming Ford with your personal jabs, it's not cute or informational.

You typed that with a straight face? I never pretended to be new nor have I carried on a charade like you and many others here.{#emotions_dlg.wub} You claim you can't recall what your former nic was. {#emotions_dlg.confused1}{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}Uh - huh. You've been trolling this board for years and fighting with everyone and their mother and you've been called out on your behavior way too many times.{#emotions_dlg.sneaky}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Really? Do tell since you seem like the "know it all". I'm pretty certain I was not here for many years, but since you know better, you tell me. As for trolling the board, I've never claimed to be anyone but just me since I signed up again. I don't recall fighting with anyone's mothers unless they had them typing for them *shrugs* You seem angry, why? Oh, you didn't address your issue with Ford btw, sorry you got distracted venting on me.

We've had people die...it needs to be reported how bad it is. Why is that a bad thing?

ITA, I posted before and I will post again...

IF it saves even ONE life, it's worth it!

Couldn't agree more EMT!!!!!!!!!!! Some people just think of themselves because they are safe and warm in a home with heating and hot water, and maybe a fireplace. There are many in dire straights, and the sub zero temps just makes it more difficult for them. I had to take a little jaunt in 10 degree weather the other day because my car wouldn't start, needed to get to midtown, a couple miles roundtrip. Not a big deal in nice weather, good exercise, but that 10 degrees made it miserable. I had a nice warm coat, scarf, hat, mittens... and I was still a frozen whattzit by the time I got home. When I got into the warm air I had a huge coughing fit from breathing in all that cold air. There are people that are living in those conditions all day long and I don't know how they do it. I always carry a couple extra blankets in my car. If I see someone when I am out and about that looks like they could use it, I offer them one.

Bash the Op much hypocrite?

What a pathetic attempt at twisting the words. If I had a problem with Ford, I am comfortable enough with her that I would address her directly. So you need not infer or imply where it is not needed, once again, you deserve the Golden Spoon Award. Don't defer your BS on me because you have some issue you aren't brave enough to address under your real identity. You're a coward.

If you think there is too much reported, turn off your tv. I don't see any of the hype because of the type of programing we watch. I get my weather from intellicast.com they seem the most accurate to me, but then again, I live in Michigan, It's January mid winter, it's cold outside and we get a lot of lake effect snow. It's expected. Not a big deal.

I do think the media likes to hype things however... Turn it off, watch the XGames on ESPN, fantastic!!

Re: They're making this coming week sound like the end of the world.

Today, even churches canceled services. I was out and it was a challenge getting around. My tire pressure light came on so I had to stop to get air but first had to find a place where their air was functional.

Then I drove about 10 miles and the tire pressure light came on again so I had to stop again but after driving 10 miles the pressure tire pressure would be different than that recommended. I wasn't sure how much to put in so I just guessed. The light went off but now I'm going to have to take my car in to have the tires checked out. I should have stayed at home.

when the weather is really cold, that indicator comes on. You should have it checked out, but most likely it was due to the temp changes and the air pressure is affected by those changes.

Yes, another treat brought to us by Mr Winter. I think one or more of my tires are leaking air around the seal because of the temperature changes.

They'll probably be reading our electric meter this Friday. With so many nights in single and low teen digits . . . I'm already dreading opening the bill next week. I'm expecting the highest bill we've ever received. In the coldest of winter and hottest of summers . . . I believe this one will TOP THEM ALL. YIKES! $$$

If this is all true, I don't want to know in advance, thank you.
