They do things differently at British weddings than we do here,

Bridesmaids follow the bride down the aisle rather than coming first

Maid of honor does not stand on the altar with the B & G

Bride's father remains next to the bride during the vows instead of sitting once he has "handed her over"

It's OK for someone else besides the bride to wear white

And the main weding cake is fruitcake. I'm glad somebody eats that stuff!
