No it wasn't. You admitted that was why you mentioned his hair as a distraction.

NO, I did not!

I'm sorry that you read things in a way that suits your intentions, which are apparently to try and get under my skin.  In the post to the person who mentioned the "pr ez" thing, I was trying to be tactful and let her know that that aspect of Mr. Trump should not be mentioned and why.

Re: They deleted my serious question

It's pretty obvious that censoring all posts will now be a top priority. Noticed that a post with the subject of discounts (obviously outside of QVC) was deleted as inappropriate.

My question: For a very long time, I have had trouble processing why certain hosts and vendors can talk about and/or post pictures of very highly personal information. Where they are going, what they are doing, pictures of their children, where these children are attending schools, etc. In this day and age, with some very sick and dangerous people running around, is this a smart thing to do? Obviously, the Q does not have a problem with this. Now there are some hosts and vendors who are smart enough not to share this information, but plenty who aren't smart enough to do so. Why doesn't the Q censor this stuff?

I will look.  No answer, I bet.  Thanks.

I can't find it.  It doesn't matter.  This is like being in kindergarten.  I didn't particularly like the thread title, but there were some funny responses.

I can't find the thread anymore anyway and I went to page 10.

Did you find it?  Your reply is still there (number 52) and Brittany answered you in #59.  HTH.

Re: They deleted my serious question

The decision of what a host or a representive of a product wants to put out on the QVC site should be left up to them. Not us posters  I am sure they are all well aware of what is going on out in this world now. I am all for being care full and safe but what someone wants to put out about them or family I think is their personal decision to decide.

It was not a political discussion, it was a discussion about his ridiculous hair.

Re: They deleted my serious question

Hi cater, I guess I didn't make my post significantly clear. And that is inconsistency in what we post versus what is broadcasted in a much more obvious way. I challenge you to post a picture of your child and announce the name of your child, and where your child lives and attends school. There could be many more examples. How long do you think it would be before this post would be removed? And for valid reasons. So hosts and vendors do this at will? Would you do this to your family? Wouldn't you want someone to sit you down and explain it wasn't very smart? I hope you finally get my point.

Re: They deleted my serious question

I don't understand why there would be any confusion, or why there would be a reason to challenge the mod.   It's clear in the guidelines that discussions about religion or politics (both specifically mentioned this time - yay) are not allowed.

What I saw from the mod was her effort to let the thread stay but to remove any political aspects of it.  I think she was going out of her way to see if people could just discuss the silly hair aspect of the subject and keep politics out of it.  Sure, we all have our opinions but should we be surprised if they don't expect us to challenge their guidelines or complain if they delete posts within a thread to try and let people discuss the rest of the subject?

I just don't think so.  If I post something that is outside the guideliness I would fully expect it to be deleted and not questioned.  Being here is like being on somebody else's private property.  THEY make the rules.  We follow them.  Smiley Happy

That's correct.  My Jeb thread was deleted and the reason was "no general threads about presidential candidates" or something like that.
