The pacific typhoon

I just got an e mail from a dear friend who lives in the Phillipines. She had been evacuated to New zealand a few days ago - she now says there is no where for them to return to. Their home is totalled and the base is underwater so they are being brought home to the USA.I am so glad my friend is safe , and so sad for her for her losses and for everyone who was affected by this storm.
