Wow. This is a very unique outcome for sure. THank the Lord. But....I still think there should have been an amber alert. I know, I know the car thing but still the woman didn't walk to Iowa so there must have been some kind of car.

The mother's step-sister, Kristin Smith, has been arrested for kidnapping. The authorities found a fake pregnancy belly in her car. Thank God that baby is safe and out of her hands!

Madison news showed that the baby was found in an open gray plastic tote box swaddled in blankets. The tote was left to the backside of the gas station/convenience store building. Sheriff heard crying while canvassing the area. Smith has already lawyered up. Baby is presently in a hospital for observation.
