That. As usual.

For sure, it's not everyone. I'm glad to see that more and more are not buying it.

What I don't understand is why those of you who "don't buy it" bother even opening her threads. Let alone posting on them.

So only those that "buy it" are allowed to express their opinions? What I don't understand is folks that want to be the thought police. I respect that you may disagree with me. I would hope that you feel the same. You and I may agree on many, or most things. Because we don't agree on this subject does not mean that either of us can tell the other what they can or can't say.

Where did I tell you what you could or couldn't say? I simply don't understand why anyone would waste their time reading and discussing something they thought was pure fantasy. If I thought someone was just trying to yank my chain I wouldn't give her the opportunity. I'd avoid her thread rather than waste my time on it. But you do what makes you happy...

Hi, cody! If we all had so much restraint. . .{#emotions_dlg.blushing} Nice to see you here.Smile

Hey there doo. Nice to see you too tweety. Glue didn't work. But sitting on my hands is working quite nicely, lol. Now as long as the glue doesn't stick to my...well...you know where it would stick if I am sitting on it, LOL. Wink

{#emotions_dlg.laugh}Well, I've been stuck with my. . . to the chair watching for the baby giraffe to be born, so your trick might be a good idea. Keep me from falling off my seat if I doze off.{#emotions_dlg.scared}

ROFL {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I love giraffes. And I love zoos. So where ever we travel my husband always tries to find a zoo for us to go too. Colorado Springs mountain zoo...GREAT herd of giraffes. So friendly too. Great memories for us! Now don't fall off your bum. Gorilla glue. That is the trick. Nite. Dream sweet!

Then perhaps you are wiser than me, lol. It is only on occasion that I read and post to this person. But I am working on it and hope to get better. You inspire me. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I don't read "offended"either. I'm thinking this woman lives in a rather dark place, and thinks that we all "must" be in it as well. She's made comments in the past...that we all abuse drugs, and now...that we all have child abuse in our backgrounds, either through our parents or our own history as parents.

We haven't all lived her life, yet she seems to want to believe we must all be like her? I have to say...it's very deranged.

And anyone can say anything on the internet but that doesn't make it true unless of course you believe everything you read on the internet.

I sure don't believe it all, but a lot of new people sign up to post on this board every day, so maybe some of those who know the history of this poster, can bring it up when she posts outlandish things, as she did today? Might save them some time from getting involved in her drama.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

And I do believe she mixes a lot of past experiences that may or may not be true, with present day ones, that may or may not be true. but overall, I'm seeing her as being a very dark person, who needs some serious counseling.

Cygne, why don't you grow a pair and talk your trash with the name we know you as? Oh, you have been a long time reader and just started posting? Yeah. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} If you had the courage of your convictions, you would.

For most people who post here this is not their first rodeo so I doubt they need any wising up from the peanut gallery.

Oh, I do love zoos and giraffes and all the critters, too. My favorite might have been the San Diego Zoo, but so many of the smaller ones are real charmers. Haven't been to the one in Colorado Springs, but I recently discovered an old friend who lives there. Who knows, maybe I'll get out there to see her and we'll hunt for giraffes.{#emotions_dlg.biggrin} Good night, sweet dreams!

Why would anyone want or try to turn this thread into a war with rodeo riders, a peanut gallery and perceived hypocrites? {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

This thread has sure gone off track. But for me, as soon as I read the part about beating the younger brothers with a switch ( and I didn't really know what that was until others explained it), I couldn't ignore that.

No....just going to have to say it again, even though it has already been said. This was wrong back in the day, is wrong today, will be wrong tomorrow. No one should be trying to say there is anything justifiable about this kind of "discipline".
