Well, I guess that's the end of QVC for variety. Its nothing but Women's, jewelry, clothes, shoes, shampoo, etc. This station has really changed. What do the male hosts do? There isn't any variety anymore. I guess you gotta go where the bucks are. And that with the women of America. But how many women need a gallon of WEN hair conditioner for $200.00??

I wish they would get out and do the tours again. Try to find "different" stuff, but that's not big sales for them even though it was fun for us.

I just found some tubes of a sticky "putty", which I think I bought on the Q or maybe HSN, years ago- As I recall, this stuff was GREAT and could stick together anything...
Wish they offered this type of product again, Though I don't even turn on the fashion. jewelry, beauty, shoes etc- I am the one who likes the cooking and kitchen gadget shows..
Agree- Variety IS the spice of life..The tours and discoveries were a lot of fun..seems like they try to make up for lack of tours by having a studio audience, but i could stand BOTH...

The unique and unusual have gone by the wayside with QVC and that is sad.

They are sticking with safe and predictable...

I disagree with the "womans stuff" Weekends are mostly computer, expensive items such as sleep number beds. kitchen appliances and vacuums. Very few fashion or beauty shows aside from am style.

There are far too many "food" shows, IMO.

Those food items are expensive too!

I don't even watch an hour a week anymore. I used to like the traveling shows with new unique products. Now it's just Dooney & Bourke, Wen and makeup.

QVC went wrong when they bought into the product lines -- they seem to have purchased partnerships with many product developers and now have a vested interest in selling mostly those products.
They allow room for just enough competition for appearances and probably to watch which sell stronger so they can buy into the strongest. The field can only get narrower.
